Everyone can dance. It’s not about moves, it's about feeling. Dance is the very core of who I am - all my experiences, trials and joys have their place in my choreography. It's about capturing the emotion of the moment in a unique and physical flow of tension and release to create something meaningful and positive.
There’s not a lot of teachers out there who can teach a deaf person to hear music.
Deaf people are naturally very visual. I see things. Observe things. Take pictures in my mind. I feel the waves of music through vibrations and feel the structure. The walls, floor, and skin all work in concert to relay the music. I want to give the deaf community a slice of dance like in the hearing world.
